Curtis started practicing martial arts in high school and has been doing Hapkido for the past 10 years. In 2006 he earned his 2nd Dan in Hoshinkido Hapkido from GM Serge Baubil. Curtis is recognized as a second dan in Hapkido by both the International Hoshinkido Hapkido Federation and the World Hanminjok Association. He is currently learning Taekwondo from Brian LaBelle and recently received his 1st Dan black belt.
Curtis currently works for IBM as a software developer. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours Co-op) degree from the University of Manitoba. For the past 18 years Curtis has been involved in the Scouting movement. Currently he is a member of the 163rd Winnipeg Algonqiuan RCMP Rover Crew. Curtis also enjoys playing beach volleyball, camping with friends and family, and developing programs and websites for the groups he is involved in.

Francois has been learning martial arts for 10 years. He has been certified as 2nd Dan in Hoshinkido Hapkido by both the International Hoshinkido Hapkido Federation and the World Hanminjok Assocation. He also holds a black belt in Taekwondo.
Francois has several degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education and Post baccalaureat in Education. He has been a teacher for 15 years. In his free time he enjoys long distance running and spending time with his two children. Francois has been certified by the National Coaching Certificate Program.
